An observer of the arts, Adele draws inspiration from fashion and social trends from around the world. Her travels to South Africa, Europe and Asia influence her collections and reflects her love of color, exotic prints and silky textures. It is these influences and her interpretation of what makes a practical wardrobe that makes her concept a success. Though her clothes are stylish today, they are not 'one season' items. Her designs always look fresh, uncomplicated, modern and are extraordinarily well made. Her exquisite jewelry strung with fresh water pearls and semi precious stones are designed to enhance her clothing line.

Adele Dallas Orr entered the fashion world in South Africa at a time when European clothing was only available at prohibitive prices. She took the opportunity to create stylish timeless clothing and accessories with European flair for women of all ages at an accessible price point.  The Adele Dallas Orr collection was sold in her free standing chain of boutiques in Cape Town and Johannesburg and her wholesale operation in London, England. In addition, her collection was showcased at Harrogate and the London Pret a Porter trade shows. Her designs of cocktail dresses were televised during the Miss South Africa competition.

Perceiving the same niche in the market today as she had in South Africa, Adele followed her instincts and opened, Adele Dallas Orr, 'pret a porter' boutique at the Shops at North Bridge 520 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago. " Chicago is a stylish city where women come to shop from all over the world. "My concept is that you can start with one piece and build a practical wardrobe, everything in my boutique links on and onto each other, sometimes it's the tiniest thing that make the biggest statement.  I'm catering to the ladies who enjoy shopping in a European styled boutique where they can re-define their own style by adding unique pieces. Our staff will gladly assist you to personalize your own wardrobe."
