Keep it simple, travel light! Choose A basic color to suit the Season. Black, Brown,or Navy Blue for Winter and White,Cream,Black or Navy for Summer. Red is the easiest accent for any season and works day or evening. There is no need to sacrifice comfort for fashion when your'e jetting off to paradise or on a business trip.  Here's how to make the right packing choices before you go so you'll have all you need once you arrive.  Think about what kind of trip your taking, then check this list of essentials to take along . Check the weather where you are going and  plan your outfits carefully so you don't pack too much but still have everything you need, down to the right pair of shoes.

Go Anywhere Travel Essentials

Dress comfortably. Consider the lines at security and keep jewely to a minimum to avoid metal belts and buckles that will setoff alarms.  Carry a travel wallet with slotes for a boarding pass. ID and passport so everything is in one accessible spot.

Designate a pocket in your carry-on to hold jewelry and you remove or coins of keys emptied form pockets.  Shawls and ponches can usually be left on but jackets must comeoff.  What you wear underneath should be appropriate in public .    Wear shoes that slide on and off (ballet flats and loafers) wear socks or Peds so you're not barefoot.

The Basics :

Light weight coat or anorak, Carry a Tote (that can hold an extra T Shirt and a set of underwear ) White Shirt, Neutral Pants, Short and Long Sleeve T shirts, a packable dress and a white shirt and a  camisol.    Pack a cardigan, and shoes that can double for day or evening.  Flat Balett pumps, wedge sandals and a pair of heels for evening.

Upgrading to Business Class

A black pansuit is a stylish basic , when you travel for work, but a sheath dress, tuxedo shirt and bright accesories up the proffessional polish.   A black pantsuit is a stylish basic, but a dark grey, navy or camel are also versatile and dress up well for night.  A brightly colored sweater or print scarf is a sure way to take the boredom out of a business suit.  Bring a new pair of pantyhose for every day of your trip and spare pair to keep in your handbag for emergencies.

A classic trench coat looks sharp and will usually accomodate enough layers underneath to insulate against wind, rain and chilly weather.  Consider buying one with a detachable wool lining to maximize its versatility.
